Description: On Tuesday, May 21, the Interfaith Council of Santa Clarita Valley will present the second of four panel discussions on religion and contemporary life. The topic for May will be "The Right to Live, the Right to Die." The panel discussions are held at Barnes and Noble Books at 23630 Valencia Blvd., Valencia. They begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at approximately 8:30 p.m. After addressing the theme-related questions, panel members will respond to questions from the audience as time allows. The Interfaith Council meets regularly at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Among the purposes of the council are increased, positive contacts among faith communities and shared support for projects such as Crop Walk, an anti-hunger organization. The council includes clergy and lay members of local religious bodies and volunteers from the community. For further information, contact Erik Felker at ejfelker@dslextreme.com.
