Description: Ever wondered how SMART gibbons are? Join us for our first ever Thanks-Gibbon event and find out! See each gibbon family receive a special present hidden in a puzzle! Great photo opportunities and a chance to watch these intriguing primates find ways to get to their favorite foods! Join us for this unique adventure, along with a silent auction, raffle, gift shop and selected arts & crafts vendors -- get your holiday shopping started early! Hear the gibbons sing their musical songs. Watch them demonstrate their extreme acrobatics! Welcome our newest infants! Light refreshments will be provided throughout the event. At 10:00 a.m., the authors of "Legendary Locals of the Santa Clarita Valley" will be autographing their books for you. A special tour of the Gibbon Conservation Center will take place around 11:00 a.m. Children are welcome --- they can get their faces painted like any species of gibbon! This is a fundraiser for the Gibbon Conservation Center, the home of 41 highly endangered small apes, including some of the rarest apes in the world. No reservations needed. Come and enjoy! Located at 19100 Esguerra Road, Saugus (just off of Bouquet Canyon, near Lombardi Ranch). Watch for the signs on the south side of the road! See you there!
