I have made my mark at The Signal and I'm feeling pretty good about it.
I sprinkled a little bit of my healthy fairy dust - I totally made that word up - and now more of my colleagues are consuming fruits and vegetables at work.
Except one. This woman - I will not say her name but she knows who she is - eats Del Taco every single day during her lunch break. She orders a taco and a quesadilla-with a Diet Coke-and refuses to eat anything that's remotely healthy.
And she's tiny! How is that possible?
Every time I offer her a piece of fruit or vegetable, she laughs at my face and says she wants nothing to do with my "rabbit food."
She then went as far as to print out a nutritional fact sheet from Del Taco and argued with me for a good 10 minutes saying that her food was totally healthy and that she's in perfect health.
I may be a little gullible - OK a lot gullible - but how can fast food be healthy and good for you?
Don't get me wrong, I love me a good In-N-Out cheeseburger - with animal fries and a shake - but to eat it every single day?
So my mission for the next couple of weeks is to get her to eat a carrot. I'll even go as far as to put some taco sauce in them in order to entice her.
