Take Me To Post Comment Form Thank goodness the election is over. Now what? Not much has changed on the national level even though billions of dollars were spent. We have the same president in office and we are headed for massive tax increases and budget cuts. But what is going to happen next from all we've seen from our local political campaigns? Could it be the end of a hard fought campaigns reaking with some of the worst name calling and deceit we've seen? If this is what we were exposed to in the campaigns and the elections, what are we to expect from our local people in office going forward? What kind of tactics will they use to stay in office now? Will they be open with us or try to hide the dirty laundry? Is this why most of distrust politicians?
