Maybe power lines should be adoped as the official logo for Santa Clarita. They are one of the first things we and visitors see of our fair city after they turn off I-5 onto Magic Mountain Parkway entering Town Center. Here we are with 20,000 families needing a place to stay and one little fish that no one ever sees is more important. Why don't we just scrape up a few of them and transplant them somewhere else? Get real. It's called re-locating, stupids. Good resource management teams do it all the time. If these fish are really a national treasure, I'm sure our many PHDs could find another home for them and life for humans could go on too.
