If I could eat sugar and cookies and cake all day, I totally would.
Just give me a roll of Oreos - there's about 13 of them in a roll - a glass of milk and a huge spoon, and I'll eat those bad boys in about seven minutes.
But there's actually a better way to eating Oreos, and it's not the way the TV teaches you. Instead of splitting the cookie in half, I put three cookies inside my glass of milk, let it soak for about 10 seconds, and scoop them up with my big spoon.
It's kind of like eating cereal.
I'm an admirer of all that is sweet, but there's a particular sugary treat that holds a special place in my heart.
I absolutely like, I mean... LOVE fortune cookies. And it has nothing to do with the taste. I don't think they're fairly tasty at all, but there's something about the hidden messages of those cookies that makes me feel all happy and giddy inside.
Not a lot of people know this about me, but I have an obsession with fortune cookies - and I pretty much have been collecting the messages for years.
I have the messages taped in picture frames in my room. It's the first thing I look at when I wake up, and it instantaneously puts me in a good mood to start off my day.
I also have four fortunes taped on the screen of my computer at work.
The reason being? Because of the positive messages they instill in me.
Words can have a powerful impact in a person's life. I like to collect those messages and frame them, so I can see them at all times. It reminds me of all the amazing things life will have in store for me.
